No. Seiken Densetsu was Final Fantasy Legend. Seiken Densetsu 2 was Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3 was never officially translated. Legend of Mana is a bastardised side story that has more in common with the SaGa series.

There's still a certain requirement of skill to be able to find a good spot, keep it and rack up kills. Surely you're the crappier player if you can't find a way around it.
