So to begin, the scan of Vampire Hunter D was so simple and artistic that I had to use it in making my next wall. However the scan it self had no setting in the background, it was just D and nothing else. Thus I felt I had alot of flexibilty in coming up with an overall theme for my wall.

The background was quite interestintg. It was a picture of a vast meadow with a dead tree in the middle and a small cemetary surrounding the tree. I changed the image around so what was visible was the dead tree and some of the crusifix of one of the tomb stones. Then I added images of flying crows to give it a more realism and also an eerie feeling.

The image of Vampire Hunter D took me a while. I first had to crop him out of the original scan, then sharpen some of his features so they can be more bold. Then I had to come up with a colour scheme that fit the background. So after playing around with different colours and contrasts, the image finally fit in well with the rest of the background.

So lastly I just did the lettering ( played around with the fonts), and some abstract lines and such I made a while back. Basically thats all.
