Well, nice vectoring Emma, but, you'll need to fix the outlines a bit, if you looks closely, you will notice that they are a bit crooked (not smooth) how you can fix that? simply by blurring the outlines a bit until you see them clean and smooth.

Nice job on the background, huge scans wallpapers need simple backgrounds so that all the attention goes to the scan :]

I totally disagree with some people on this one.

Firstly I want to point out the fact that this little thingie looks *cute*. End of discussion.

Secondly, and this is starting to really bother me. People are increasingly starting to whine about things like unclear vectors or line art, too simple backgrounds or to little detail, too little shading or color diversity and so on. I respect constructive criticism of all kinds but in some cases when I read comments it really gets out of hand. Therefore I'm gonna point out a few things about this lil' wallpaper that I see when I look at it.

The background: Simple, clean, fits perfect to the foreground in both mood and color.
The vector art: Yes it's not the cleanest, but it doesn't really matter does it? If some elements had been super-sharp and others hadn't I would have commented on that, but it all blends in nicely, or is it just me?
The colors: What can I say? Simple and coherent yet diverse, with a modest amount of shading. I would say just about everything fits the atmosphere.
Over all: A simple, harmonic and (in case no one mentioned that already) terribly cute desktop idol.

Remember there are times when you want your desktop to Not be cluttered with intense, super-complex and overloaded mega-art so deep that you could lose your sight in them, or with vectors so sharp you would risk cutting your fingers on them if you touched the screen. There are all kinds of people and situations, likewise there's should be all kinds of wallpapers and style to cover this need. I myself isn't cut out to do wallpapers like this, so I'm glad someone else does.
