This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Okay, okay... it's time for me to get back into the swing of things. It's been a while since I made wallpaper. I'm hoping that this community will inspire me. ^_^; As you can see I played alot with the gradients. And I had too much fun with the curvey curves. Nothing much I can say about this one... I was just having fun, and killin' time.

Nice, I like what you have done with this wall. I really like the idea behind it. I also like the background. The colors of the background a real nice, not to bright yet, not to dark. I guess you could say... dull? maybe? Anyway, great job on the wall. keep up the great work. +fave

Haha you even add the new characters in the series...to the wall...it looks great well to me it does...even though i think there should be at least more colours...in it but everything else is still good =]

Oddly appropriate for the series, and good, decent wallpapering work too. Perhaps you could afford to me a little more experimental in other works, but for this one the simplicity fits.
The sky has fallen. Now we can see the little strings that held it up in the first place.

Sweet! Just what I was looking for! I like the whole motif of it. Very nicely done. Only prob is, it is not the best res... T_T GJ in putting in Kuchiki-kun and Ogiue-san. I am throwing this in my rotation o' anime wallpapers for my desktop... Le Fav!

I only saw anime version of Genshiken, never read the manga
so I dont know who's that girl between kousaka & Kugayama
But, who needs detail anyway

THis is awsome! I would like to download this, but i dont have enough paper for now :P

PS: it is kinda weird how Kousaka doesnt stand next to Saki-chan. Also some kinda posters or Graffiti images would look great on the blank wall.
