After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Took a while to make this one. I was mainly experimenting with different effects I could achieve with The Gimp. I like the polka dots effect on the left side of the wall, but I suppose it doesn't really add much to the wallpaper.

The scan itself took ages to extract. It also took ages to decide what brushes I was going to use on it. Finally decided to remove the orange colour from The Gimp's stock spark brushes for the swirl around Belldandy.

Well - definitly a great wallpaper - regardless of what I am going to say next. I like the background - I can tell it took time to create that one. However - the scan in itself overdoes it somehow IMO in contrast to the very easy and loft background. Maybe the swirl effect around Belldandy overdoes it a little - I don't know.
But still - I love the combination of the fore- and background. And I basically love any Ah! My Goddess walls - so great work!

maybe you should darken the colours more..give it a 3d look.

I love AMG and this picture of Belldandy is on some other wallpaper that I've seen way long back, but thing was it was nothing compared to this wallpaper. I love this and it's going to be added. =P

O, the scan for Belldandy is very colorful, and I like what you did with the colors, with the left side of the wall being dark blue, while the right side being light blue, I think it looks nice that way. I also like what you did with the aura and swirl around her. It looks nice how the aura is light blue, while the swirl is dark blue, which matches both sides of the wall, I thought that was pretty neat. The planets don't look half bad either, and I like the little sunlight shine thingy at the bottom right. Top notch wall, good job!

Nice wallpaper, and it is good to see what someone else can manage with The GIMP: it gives me a few ideas for what I am working on. My feelings are the opposite of divStars, however, as I love the swirl, but found the background a little boring. It was alright, and works, but it just seems like it is missing something. Then again, that is the part I am having the most trouble with ;)
