As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Presenting Hina-Ichigo from Rozen Maiden - painted style =).

First it was the pretty scan that caught my eye; then it was her sad story of being neglected by her previous owner.
I've only seen two episodes, but so far it looks pretty cute.

I had a lot of advice on this one - thank yous to Flyin and Ayaki for helping me get to the idea of floral designs, and to Phoenix for suggesting a painted theme. I didn't get to implement all the ideas I got, and it ended up a plain wall again, but I'm pretty satisfied with it.

This wallpaper looks really good. The pic is cute but kind of sad at the same time. The soft colors go perfectly with the pic. I'm using this wall as my desktop now. xD Keep up the good work!

Lovely wallie! I like the paint style, it's really nice. The roses and the girl looks soo pretty. The light pink bg is pretty, too. Nice job! Your making me want to watch Rozen Maiden now. xD

Well, this is a different wallpaper. It's interesting the nice effect in the roses, are great and looks fantastic. For the principal character it's very innocent and so sweet. Definitively an excellent concept and use of elements.

This is sooo GREAT. its SO perfect for Hina Ichigo. Instead of the cute, upside of her that you presenteed, you took the sad part of her and made it into a wallpaper! i love it. Her eyes look so sad and tired of waiting. Great job. THe flowers really look nice too!

Kyaaa! Hina-ichigo-chan de arimasu! Its cute, and yet so nice. It feels a little different from the usual Hina Ichigo so, thats good too... The roses are good on the side, great job! I am adding this to my favorites!

I'm so glad that you didn't put anything distracting in the background. I honestly think that would've killed it x] It's absolutely gorgeous. The light pastels give it so much character and softness that it doesn't need a bold statement because it already is. Kudos =]

Really liking the soft, painted look of this. Very nicely done! I think leaving it a bit on the plain side was a good idea since it gives more focus to the character. While the text isn't really distracting since it's rather small, I think a textless version of this would look much better.

Late comment...^^; it looks very pretty. i admire your style of outlining...or outline, if outlining does have styles xP anyway, yeah, i like how it's done, especially for her curls. and that painted look is wonderful. x3 i am about to do a painted wall but i know i can never get it to look this nice. great job.
