Please do not talk about the anime/manga here. This is about the wallpaper, so talk about the wallpaper please. If you want to please go to the forums and start a thread about the wallpaper there.

Now as for the wallpaper. When I first saw this the first words almost autonomously out of my mouth were: "nope, not going to cut it". As I've said time and time again, simple wallpapers can be a good concept, but simplicity needs to be done with an attitude of not "less is more" but more "how can I bring life to the smallest of things". The glowing skate with the very very unoriginal black background is more of the former than the latter, and therefore the wallpaper suffers. Sure the black makes the focal point stand out more, but it doesn't necessarily compliment it, and that only works to hurt the focal point in the end. However, the focal point is already hurt by the problem of just being pasted into the scene with nothing else, and so while there is just the skate, there is no wallpaper. Therefore I would say that this wallpaper fails in anything it is trying to do, thus making it something not that enjoyable to look at.

Interesting, very nice job on the vector ^_^, although a little too simplistic but the fact that the bg is pure black would probably fit with my skin =D! Regarding the anime and manga I myself have not watched the anime but I can tell you the manga ROCKS! =D
