Two D.Gray Man wallpapers in a row! I must be crazy! Even though they're very different in style...

I've felt lately that vectoring certain anime or manga images has been too easy; images with cleans shadows and lines that I seemed to just be cleaning were kind of boring. I wanted a challenge so I decided to vector this image, from the 2009 D.Gray Man calendar. It was definetely a toughie, cuz of the low scan quality and the smoothness in shadow transition of the author's own artwork, but I'm quite happy with the result.

I went with a Japanese springtime themed background, simple and clean (as usual, hehe). Obviously the vector's supposed to be the main focus. The title expresses my frustration at Kanda for not smiling...not even once...
