THE END. I didn't feel like making a story out of it. XD

So here's my newest thing, its sort of a minimalistic style with lots of negative space cause I like it that way. Background is a stock photo I manipulated color-wise to get the desired fantasy effect, then adjusted contrast and did plenty of dodging and burning to lead the eye upwards. Character scan was really dull so I brought out the colors a lot more so she stood out.

Umm.. that little text box thing is obviously a stat chart. The stats in order are Species, Gender, Class, Special Ability, and Rank. I'm a big game dork but have NEVER played Lineage II, so if these stats don't even relate to the game let me know and I'll try and fix it accordingly. Textless version is always available - I'll post a link later.

Now view it, comment, and enjoy.
I'm done here - time for tennis!

Hello,

I like this wallpaper for its simplicity. Sure the work in dodging and burning must've been quite a pain. However it doesn't feel...overdone. I see to many wallpapers that just got pushed to far where it seemed cluttered. I'm becoming a huge fan of using concept art from video games for there beauty and detail. Nice choice by the way. Thanks for sharing this with us ^_^. Love your work everytime I see it. Hope to see more in the near future. +Fav

Very pretty. The fantasy effect you did on the BG is great. Just that the upper left side of the scan doesnt blend with the bg a little. Is that thing supposed to be flailing in the wind? I love how clothes can be stiff like that without being starched. I also like stuff that flails in the wind... Okay I'm done rambling...

I think this wall is really gorgeous, though the bars in the middle sorta stand out... its not that big a deal, but if it were bigger... but obviously, you know that, so thats okay... anyway, i still give it two thunmbs up... ^_^

I think this is the first wall of yours that made me feel like the scan's really not integrated well with the bg x_x Hard to put my finger on it. Maybe it might help if those trailing bits of colorful cloth are transparent?

And yeah... I'm thinking I might like the textless version, I do like the concept for the text but it feels a bit too rough, especially those color bars. Otherwise, the space + depth of this wall rocks. XD

Great wall but I have to agree with flyindreams on the BG integration. But I think I see the problem. The BG lighting and the character lighting are way off of one another. Since the character is too bright it looks like a cut and paste on to the BG with no effort (Although the BG is really well done).

I must say that I like how alive that forest background looks. The light being cast down upon the scan really does look like it's naturally coming from high up through the branches and leaves of the trees. The scan itself fits really well with the background, as well. Nice job at capturing that fantasy RPG feeling. Nice work. Take Care.

The scan is very nice and goes very well with the background, I think. The forrest-background is great - it can be stock photo but I still love it - because of good and fantasy-like colours. The shadings are nice and I love the status box, it reminds me about a couple of really old but good video games ^^
Nice little effects.
