Ichigo always seems to be battling himself, both the Hollow inside (spoilers?) and his confidence in his abilities. I just wanted this scene to radiate power and energy. The background was painted in a few hours, I added a slight texture, then proceeded to do those stars which was challenging to say the least. @_@ Originally they were all stationary but ultimately I decided to pinch them towards Ichigo for focus and effect. It's not radial blur, though it is good to see walls like that every now and then, for nostalgia at least. The Ichigo scan came from somewhere, can't remember where, its been in my scans folder for a long time. It was rather low quality so I had to do a few touch-ups. Because a few of you have asked how many layers I use and time taken on particular walls, here's a stat sheet. XD
