While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

AP Featured Wallpaper!: Sometimes I wonder how people come up with there idea's for wallpapers. Every wallpaper is unique in its own way but some show a fresh breeze trough the toughts of everyone. Popart is something you see every now and then but mixed together with this blend of Alice in Wonderland look makes it just something fresh and new.
Thats why this wall of storm-and-fire deserves to be highlighted. They have been producing great wallpapers for some while now ofting combining there strenghts into masterpieces. These 2 sisters are a perfect match strengthening there weaknesses with good teamwork resulting in awesome craftmanship.
On previous wallpapers we could see there vectorring and landscape skills, ore there fresh toughts and crazy ideas on how to go loco with a bit of art into it.

Only this time it was perfected. A vector so outstanding it makes you wonder where they got it from. colourd with shades different tones a glancing to it and a softness to go with the background.
The background is remarkable, it might be a bit blurry compared to the vector it still remains a unique work if you see into it that they used a tablet to draw it by hand and finish it off with colouring. Somehow it becomes budhistic with childsplay mixed into it.

and the all out idea behind this wallpaper is one you dont have to understand. there is no emotion to this wall just happyness with candy on top, all mixed together in sirup and some gummybear madness. I

Hello everybody! Storm calling! We're bringing something new! This is the first Storm-AND-Fire wallpaper (as in we both made it, even though it's primarily Anna's).

Well, Anna had been working on it for some time, but it became a collab during the last week. I helped her a bit with it. Whenever she got tired, I would take control. For example, I made a super detailed vector of the girl's cellphone (it doesn't show, does it?), drew some of the fluffy clouds, the rainbows on the left side and coloured most of the popart. Here's what she wants to say:

Hi everyone! Long time no see!
This is my first time vectoring and drawing popart. Popart is fun! Vectoring is not! The lineart took me about 3 weeks. 0.0
So, my part on this wall was the vectoring of the girl (except of the part Maria did), the drawing of popart, door, wall texture, rainbows on the right side, 1/4 of the popart colouring, and other adjustments.
Anyway, hope you like the wallpaper. It beat the crap out of both of us. Thank God our parents are cooperative! Have fun!

Anyway, collaborating was actually weird. We had a hard time, but it was really fun and we're both liking the result.

So... in case you haven't fullviewed and looked on the right side, this wallpaper is our loving gift for `k1ru!

And well... because Anna did not screencap the steps throughout her progress, I took the liberty and made this little pic of fullsized or 50% resized parts of the vector (the 25% version is used on the wallpaper):

Well, I still don't understand why you wanted my worthless opinion... but you did so:

This is one of the most original piece of work I've ever seen. Your girls (and more Anna based on the description you provided) really did a wonderful job on the background. It is very detailed and colorful- it reminds me of paintings that would be asked to be painted on the walls around playgrounds in pre or elementry school... just more ... err dark? .. emo? ... whats the word? ... - anyway, the coloring of the art really makes it "ironic" as the art details themeselves, being a little "mean and dark" are not something I would see on the walls of playgrounds, though not the colorfulness of course. And I do indeed see that cellphone- looks like it is either hanging from her key-chain/necklace or clipped to her clothing, but part of the various decor she wears. Love to sun too... reminds me of the one from Mario 3 where he would swoop down and try to kill you ha haha. And is that a pikachu with a mustache!? Very creative, you even incorporated your signature as constalations in the background.

And of course: how did you know I liked cute anime girls holding or wearing or incorporated with machinery? Girls + mech parts = WIN WIN SUPER RAMEN COMBO! Ive never seen this anime though, so I am in lost territory over whether she does like killing people with chainsaws. Sure keeps the pervs away though.

Nice Powerhouse Walls, ladies.

To the wall:
First I have to say that I highly appreciate this wall, I already thought I would lose my faith in ap because most of the latest walls sucked >_> (not all of course I don't want to insult all the great artist's here ._.) Anyways, Your wall is simply amazing! :D Great color concept, the bg fits PERFECTLY with the girl and everything just matches so well that I can't find the right words... ;_;

This wallpaper made be breathless. Seeing an amazing wallpaper like this with only vectors gets me really motivated because I prefer the vector styles. This wallpaper makes a great background. The colors are nice, smooth, subtle and calm. Very pleasing to the eyes.

Hmm seems i still can/need2 comment/fav it :P whell first of i have stated most of my enthousiasm in my feature so some pointers in here for ya :P
the floor is a bit weard, i know it sucks hard to make a corner that seperates wall from floor but still it works pretty good. maybe it could also look nice without the bottom but still cool. second off the lines in the wall look a bit weard a bit papery like wich is a good and a bad thing in my opinion :P
whell for the rest check my featured description, and yeah i know its long. didnt expect it to fully enrole in the side bar ><;; so apologies for all those who think OMGWTFBBQSAUCE!!111!whutalongdescription! i just am good at writing long storys with lots of unnecesarry info

HOT damn this is some serious stuff. I envy your talent and your patience above all to pull off something like this. I only work like 2 hours on walls but you put your heart and soul into every one of your works and it shines through brilliantly. You need to be art majors, both of you, and collaborate on children's books or something. I would love to see your works in my classroom one day!
