This wallpaper was another submission to a contest over at another forum I am apart of, and if you can't tell, it's a winter wallpaper. lol How appropriate. xD

When approaching this wallpaper, coming up with ideas was hard, so I finally formulated something. I wanted to use a picture of someone from Bleach for my original and creative idea, but this scan popped out into my face and I just had to use it! The extraction of the character took about 1 hour to do, including cleaning and whatnot. There is a section of her that had text spilled on it, so I had to recolor it so it would blend and be usable! =O

The background is actually a wintery scene I found, but it was smaller than the resolution I originally used, so with some blending options and a few gradients, I was able to obscure it enough, but make the blends work so that you couldn't tell.

EDIT: People mentioned it was a little too bright, so I toned down the screen layer I had up top and I think it turned out for the better! =D Thanks for the suggestions everyone. ^_^

EDIT v.2: I added a sharpened layer this time. XD I think it looks a little better quality wise with the sharpen filter! ^^
