For the love of baseball!! That's what this is. For the love of baseball and Oofuri, which is so terribly under-appreciated. I've been meaning to make another Oofuri wallpaper for such a long time, but I kept putting it off because I didn't know what to do with the scans I really really wanted to use...they would probably need major vectoring, and that's a turn-off for me. :/ So I decided to make a wallpaper with this scan because it's so cute with the team all together:

I know; I realize this is a similar wallpaper style to my Johan Monster one, but I couldn't help it. The scan just screamed "old nostalgic photo with lots of browns." ^^; It's funny and a let-down...because I worked really hard on cleaning the scan up, and then here I make a texture wallpaper anyway! If you look at the original, there's a wretched crease down the middle and text on the bottom left corner. The text was definitely the hardest to get rid of. I used the Clone Stamp tool for a good portion of the cleaning, and then I had to [where the title was] rewrite "Nishiura" on the guy's jersey with the pen tool. Yeah, sorry buddy, I forget your name. XD [the guy on the very bottom right]

At first I had a really bright and clear wallpaper going on (almost TOO bright), but then I figured that didn't look right. :/ So I went with the old photo idea. I'm still bothered by the background though...I just couldn't get it the right color, and now I'm afraid it's too reddish orange. Sorry. Um, anyhoo, I got my textures from DA! Desktop Anime, and then I made the rest with brushwork. Overlaying things, using filters and other effects. I made this a REALLY dirty photo! Must've been covered in dust and mud for years. XD That's what you get for playing baseball with the photo in your pocket...

Hmm...nothing else that I can think of...other than Abe-kun smiling like that just seems odd to me! And I apologize to him because it seems like his face is a lot lighter than the others', although he's really tanner. He's the only one without a hat on. Ah~ it's nice to see the team together like this. So cute; it's a shame my wallpaper has not done them justice. *sigh* Someone please make more Oofuri wallpapers so I don't have to look at my crappy ones! Anyhoo, this took about 5 hours; do enjoy...

[ edit after 18 hours: I changed the color and slightly reduced the outer "frame". Now it's not as red/orange. I also added some random text throughout the photo. I don't think it matters though.]
[ edit 2 after 1 day 20hrs: As if anyone cares~ But I feel better about it now. Oh, and yes, this is edit 2 even though it says "5" because I freaking kept selecting the wrong file to upload. Anyhoo, I took away some of the top-layer's brushwork/texture (it was bothering me), and I added another layer of the scan. I agree, Oli-chan, they were too bright in places. Now it's more consistent, and you can see their expressions better.]
