After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

THIS LOOKS BEST WITH 4:3 SCREENS. Tangina, bibili na ako ng Widescreen monitor.

Okay, the scan has been cleaned FURTHER. Submitted for the second time for great justice.

revision history:

-changed the borders from black to white.
-made the corners rounded
-sharpened the image
-cleaned the scan further for great justice.

Now it looks more like vice city stories instead of vice city.

-reverted to black version, removing the "vice city stories" effect.
-removed MORE jpeg artifacts
-re did the whole text for "roanapur city" for great justice still.

This is the first time I attempted cleaning a scan, ever. Most of the time I just go ahead and vector.

Thanks to those who downloaded and LOVE for those who fav'd.

P.S. I made it "black lagoon" and not "Black Lagoon" because it's "grand theft auto" and not "Grand Theft Auto".

Sorry, this half assed widescreen version with the black bars is the best I can think of.

First to comment ... always hard to start ;-)
So let's start, i like the reference to gta video game. The effects are very good but the title :
Why "black lagoon" and not "Black Lagoon" with a "B" & "L" ? i think it would have been better.
Also, i would have preferred a widescreen version.
Anyway, very good work.
Black Lagoon is a good anime and Revy is too much.

The moment I saw that scan in the gallery, long time ago, I just knew someone was going to make a GTA-like wall out of it. It's actually a pretty cheap thing to do, but to hell with that, it works.

Anyway, I always comment Black Lagoon walls because I love the series and love to see good walls made for it. Unfortunately, I can't say your wall is that good. The blur is just killing the details and the thick black lines are making that even worse.
Choosing to fix scans instead of vectoring was the wrong choice, because the original GTA covers are vectored. And with parodies, you either need to do copy the whole style right, or choose a completely different concept. This is just half-half.

Still, I always end with my motto: "every Black Lagoon wall is a good wall", so... nice try ^__^

This is so awsome! I love the Grand Theft Auto them, and if this was a game I'd buy it for sure XD. But back on the subject, this wallpaper, is flawless and deserves a better grade than that B-, A or A- at least.

This is one of the most stylish wallpapers I've seen and Its totally going on my Favorites. I do think the boarders look better if they were white (which you've done). The pics of the Black Lagoon girls is great and the image is clean as diamonds.

And the title is perfect, you really nailed it, thank you for creating this master piece and sharing it with all of us.

Awesome! I'm faving it. I'd really like to have a widescreen version, so that I could put it on my desktop, since I have a 22" LCD with 1680x1050.. but it's cool anyway and certainly worth a +fav.
The reference is done very well - I could instantly tell that it's GTA3/GTA ViceCity/San Andreas (at least I could tell it's grand theft auto 3+). But the girl on the right looks a lot sexier than that dude from the game :P so yeah .. fav.. am I happening to repeat myself over and over? It's just so great :D. Thank you for sharing.
