“Welcome home, Shinta…”



This is originally for my DA. But I wanna submit it here as well. This wall took me 6 weeks from sketch to vector and edited in PS. Mainly coz I was very very lazy. The bg is my own sketch wich I make to a vector the character is vectored from a scan. It might look what you like to call “simple” But no no no… It’s not I swear. Everything is vectored beside some symbols and I just add some brush and the shadow + reflextion in ps. I wanna do a dawn this time in the traditional Japanese surrounding with them morning fog and all. I like Kauro for her unconditional love to Kenshin. So I wanna make a beautiful environment for her. I hate that hut thing. I donno y I like to make it harder for my self by drawing it from a weird perspective very hard indeed. And the step stone… I could use texture but I decide not to coz I spend a lot of time trying to make them. If it annoys anyone pls forgive my stubbornness. Well that’s about it I think. Edit. Change the colour of water and remove some shadow on the grass. :)
