Uuuuhhhh! I finally finished this! XD
So...This is my latest wallpaper...
It's made based on a screenshot from the opening of the first series of Higurashi. I really liked how Rika looks in this image and I wanted to wall it. :) So I made a screenshot and I vectored it. It was kind of a pain vectoring it because the screenshot quality was really bad and I had to make all the details by myself...
I especially like how the eyes turned out. :)

Well, I hope you'll like this wallpaper. ^^

As always, I'm curious which version do you think looks better, with or without texture, so please tell me. :)

The colors go very well together, but somehow I don't like the foliage very much .__.' it looks a bit like cutout filter, probably because of the lack of detail. Screenshots are hard to vector, I know.

er... maybe you could try vectoring from stock sometime though 9(>_>) emoticon

it's what I did on parts of my wall.

Ooo i like this opening =_____= and the petals and the girl are great! so pretty! ^^ Its really hard to recreate screenshots so props on that! :3 but like said above the foliage isnt too hawt >< but I understand that its hard to vector things like that especially when the screenshot your working with is blurry.. xDD really other than that the wall is beautiful! great job! +fav. and yesh i < 3 teh eyesssssssss :D

ooo i personally like the textureless one the best ^^ The texture you used iz veryyyy strong XD maybe if you lowered the opacity on it it would look niceer.

First of all, I wanna tell you that I liked your wallpaper. Curiously to see that Rika is a very popular character in Higurashi, yet I've rarely seen wallpapers of her (everyone seems to prefer Rena or the Sonozaki twins :P). I do really like how you vectored the picture from the intro, though I think it need a bit more colors. But it's an overall good job ^^

Second... I don't know if you take requests. Mind if you could make a similar wallpaper, but with Satoko? I do never find any good wallpaper dedicated only to Satoko :( And she's my favorite Higurashi character. I hope you can help me :)

I like the non-texture more, but i guess it could depend on mood ... ;P
i do think the eyes are slightly off though. i cant say which is which. if the right is correct the left should be a little bigger. if the left is correct, the right should be a little smaller. not a big deal though, barely noticed actually cause they should be different sizes with the angle.
good job on the screenshot, im very happy you did this one, its probably my favorite part of the opening.
