This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

It's my first wallpaper !
I wanted to do this wall with a character and a gun. So, I did it with the Black Lagoon's characters. There are effects and it's not very technique. There are only two resolutions. Sorry!T.T

Hmmm damn i see more people love the scans i also downloaded >< am tweakin this scan also atm :/
The wallpaper aint a bad job, some gaussian blur + overlaying/soft light and you get that effect :P done it myself also. further i see you extracted it and tryd to make up with outer glow. shame some points are grainy and badly extracted.
I like the skyscraper bloodred background very fitting, and i find the pinkish background very yeah ugly and so not fitting :/
i see a lot of basicphotoshop effects and filters ( clouds/blending options ), not a bad job for a first wall but be sure to check out other photoshop options (brushes/vectoring/etc) and keep the effort up
all with all not a badjob

the bg is simple, but i liked the feeling of them "get out of the canvas" that it gives to the wall

This is a really cool wall, and an above average "first" wallpaper. I love the composition and the way you've presented the characters coming out of the window in the wallpaper. A good sense of design was used as well as a cute title aptly describing the wall.

I like it! Its a nice montage of some of the female characters from the show! Specifically, the dark/light contrast between the outer border and the inner montage-area is a nice feature. I also like the nice "3D" effect of the weapons coming out of that concentrated area. Great job!

The scan is a bit grainy but it does not change the fact that it's a nice first work ^^ I like the composition! putting the characters on that frame and using a urban background inside of it is a nice idea ^^ I find the outer background kind of empty, but that's ok ^^
The "Be Wise" is awesome :D I like the font too ^^
Keep up the hard work!

i just find the unextracted area between evil nuns bangs massively disturbing
not quite sure why its be wise, but oh well
the rest is flawless

Ashita great work, this is my second favourite wallpaper, and is the one that I use in my laptop. The scan with the five ladies is great, but you also added a very nice background and I liked the thing that some stuff (like Revy's gun and Shelua's dagger) come out of the frame. And the advice "Be wise"... so true.
