This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I gotta say, the difference between this Mai Hime wallpaper and the last one is just... night and day XD I was just going for a bright sunny look on this. It's the fan service part of Mai HiME that all but disappears in the later episodes. But yeah, happy times ^^

You chose a very fine picture, to begin with. Something as cheerful and optimistic is a rarity in the general intake on Mai Hime. And the gals all look very attractive in those suits and with that background. I enjoyed it anyway.

Cute wall, love the expressions on four of my five favorites, Mai, Natsuki, Nao, and Midori (excluding Miyu because she's obviously not there). Definitely a good looking wall for any time of the year, good job and instant fav. ^^

The beach work is good along with the clouds, the shadowing though is slight confusing since I can't tell where your lighting is coming from. Not being much of an artist myself I can't really say much, however there is one thing that is kind of a bother to me. If the shot is taken by a camera at an angle and all of the girls are standing roughly straight up, how are they touching the ground? It may just be me but its kind of confusing. Good fan service either way.

I just love this Mai Hime image. Glad someone made it into a wallpaper... It looks fantastic... the colouring with the background looks well done... great job keep up the good work
