Hello there =] this wall was supposed to be sent to the inky monday's pool party competition's 2nd round , but since i finished it, and AFTER i read the rule that there must be at least one pattern used in the wall, i realised that i have to make another one couse a pattern would pretty much ruin the whole thing :D so when the second round kicked off i had to choose from words to illustrate and i choosed freedom ... i thought that some flying action would be cool, like breaking through something and getting free, and i wanted to paint clouds since i got inspired by alexiuss's works on deviantart, and becouse clouds look cool, and becouse i only drew clouds once before on a wallie... so i looked at some cloud photos and paintings and started to paint without reference...i pretty much hooked on it, enjoyed it, so i was finished with the background in a day and i just needed one more day for little touchups and details
after i learnt that this would be disqualified from the contest(becouse the pattern matter) i added the text and got into some minor details, peris has helped me a lot in that so i wanna thank him =]
kinda like this wall i think i catched something interesting in it, its important too that i learned a lot about digital painting in the proccess
only word left to say is enjoy the freedom of the swordfish fighter =)
im off to make the wall thats really gonna be submitted for the contest =]

EDIT: so lots of people had problems with the swirls in the clouds next to the light source, and i understand that, cuz it really wasnt that good so i removed it =] also added an extra light beam in the direction to the text, i liked that idea, thanks asa ;]
