As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Hihi everyone~
WOW how long has it been? a year of no posting? LOL I just felt like submitting one of my wallpapers for old times sake. I made this a while back(submitted only at minitokyo) I really do you guys like it here as much of they liked it there.

First of all... Im sorry if you don't like it, and im sorry for taking so long, and im sorry if your disappointed :x even though I took so long to make this. It still looks ohh soo crappy.
It based on a dream I had . It was a werid dream. I was in a room just like that, with the trees going through the window, beads on the floor and such :( but it felt oddly sad yet beautiful blah blah blah. Then I woke up crying...>gosh I sound lame>.<
I used about 10 different stock images from google.

Fabulous well made wall,

I really like the lighting effect coming to the scan is just awesome!

A wonderful concept and a beautiful layout. I love the brightness of the trees coming in, as well as the beads on the floor.
never apologize for artwork before you present - art is never bad, and you should be proud of your accomplishments. I loved this wall, it has great light and dark contrasts not to mention a good incorporation of a nice scan.
the only thing I'd say looked a little off would be that painting in the back - for some reason the picture looks likes it been stretched vertically across the canvas to fit the long frame. but maybe that was what the stock looked like.
overall, I think you did a wonderful job! keep up the great work.
