His head looks like a cracked Century Egg whose eggshell was apparently painted black to match
(if that makes any sense); but that's why I love it! XD It matches the patterns you applied. I also agree that you did a great job on the scan extension, because I've noticed you've preserved the concave perspective of the original scan quite nicely :)
However, I do wish you'd use a classier font for your signature/title, to match the whole origami paper feel... and since you widened the cliff that he's standing on, maybe you could add more detail/shadow to it [particularly to the cliff's east, west and south edges] because it looks a little too bare and takes away much of the depth you worked so hard to create... I'd also like to see more of the slippers, could you bring them more into the picture? They're undoubtedly a nice piece of symbolism that you could well use to your advantage ;)

I like yout fill-pattern work, really fits with the series.
