This was done for the Script Refinery's Movie Poster competition. I found the scan here on AP, and vectored the girl so that I could extend the kimono. I had originally planned to translate the title (which is crazy long) into English for my logo, but I could never find what it meant =p So...this is what I ended up with. Not sure how I feel about the finished product, but I made it in time for the competition deadline, and I ran out of ideas to be honest =p Textless version available here!

Really nice vector you have there, I'm just sad to see it so obscured by the muddy bg. :(
Alas, I'm not a big fan of grunge walls, but I do like them dark, I think you could use this vector to make a slightly clearer wall, and then it might be received better, because, overall, I don't think your choice of textures are all that bad.
Incidently, have you watched this anime? I'm quite curious about it myself.

The background is interesting, the pattern and the colors are nice. The character looks good in her clothes, she fits to the background well. The text looks good, nice wallpaper.

Yeah, i wish there were more wallpapers of the troupe chief from irohanihoheto. or rather more of her wallpapers where she is dressed in her stage outfit, i like her kimono and her long hair. anyways, thank you for sharing.

I so love the use of textures and colors on this wallpaper! Though I'm usually not too crazy about the main image being centered spot middle there's enough going on to make this work. Very nice job!
