When I saw this girl she almost looked like a secret agent DJ. As if she was going to take that record off the turntable and throw it at a badguy. I decided that the focus was going to be the records. I made the large record first and then copied and pasted the smaller ones, using free transform to angle them to be flatter. I only put the label on the large record as I thought it would distract from the wall. I also wanted to give the wall a grungier feel to it so I added a lot of grunge brushes to it, the dots and distortion. The background is pretty simple, I found music and overlayed them on a cloud render. It is a dark red / blue cloud with a red layer overlayed. The orange / green spots are a seperate layer that is masked to only appear in a couple places to brighten up the background to match the vibrant character. To prevent her from just "floating" in the background someone suggested I have her standing on a record and I think it turned out well. I also go by the name Princess Minako on Animegalleries.net(The site that I own). Original can be seen at http://www.animeforum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=10029.

never seen a wall made of records and prolly never again will
i think the record in her hand needs a different angle
the giant record makes up a lot of unused space and is a bit disturbing compared to the rest of the bg which is very detailed
i like the black-red combo, so this wall is made just like i like it
the only thing that i dont like is the characterherself
she looks sharp and all, no complaints there
i just dont like her stance and colored fingernails
this aint your fault of course

Eh ... I know how this wall actually looks like and it's great. Nice and attractive background which perfectly suits the character. As Muz said it's sad the re-compression ruined it like that. ;_;

This is a good wallpaper but personally I don't like the the lack of color in backround. I see Iroha as more of a flowery, beautiful girl with a raver undertone rather than a secret agent. So when I think about a wallpaper of her I'm thinkin' flowers blooming or something more feminine and colorful to bring emphasize that side of her.
Don't get me wrong though you did a really good job. I like how you added musical notes to the backround and added mutiple records. It definately has a beatmania feel to it. Also how you said you added the record beneath her to have her actually standing on something was a good idea as well. Also the colors definately go with Iroha half of her clothes are black, and her hair of course is orange, her clothes are lined with it as well and even her nail polish is orange. I hope you don't get dispirited by my personal views because you did a great job on this wallpaper.

Iroha is awesome, and my favorite DJ on IIDX. Very nice wall. I especially like how you have her standing on a record, very nice way of handling the problem.
