Nice clean vector. I really like how you got the pattern into the kimono(or whatever it is) that must have taken a while, but the best part of the whole wallpaper is the sky. It blends very well and I really like how you got the mythology idea going on into the wallpaper. In the end, another masterpiece by you. n_n Great Job. (+fave)

I, myself, love Oh! Great's artwork, but I absolutely hate the level of ecchi in both Ten Ten and Air Gear. Both are really great shows, but it seems that there's just a tad bit of an obsession with big-breasted women. I was rather surprised to find out that you were doing an Air Gear wall, but when I saw the scan that you were going to be vectoring, I knew it was going to be something amazing. I just didn't have an idea that it would be THIS magnificent.

I knew, simply from what you told me, that this wallpaper was going to blow away any other Air Gear wall that's ever been submitted..or rather blow away any other wallpaper in general, I just didn't realize to what extent. The vector looks so good (Nicely done rope too, btw =P). I'm no expert, but to me if it can look even better than the original scan, then it's darn good in my book. I think what I'm fond the most of is the work you did on the Kimono. Without a doubt, aside from the background, that probably my favorite part about this wallpaper. I think you really outdid yourself on that. Now, onto my second favorite part, the background. The way you have her shifting time is absolutely stunning. Not only does the night sky look great, but the sunset looks quite lovely as well. I also like how you added a pattern to the sunset as well. The city, the birds as well as the trees also give a nice feel for exactly how high in the air she is and also look quite nice as well.

I could ramble on and on about this wallpaper, but I think I've already done enough as is. This is probably one of the best walls I have ever had the pleasure of viewing in years. No joke either. This wall is going to be on my desktop for a good, long time. You really showed everyone just how amazing you are, Kalico =3. I < 3 this wall, so very, very much. It's a favorite for me.

the overabundant ecchi. ugh. *rolls eyes* don't get me started. i was asked by a friend a while ago to make some air gear walls from some manga scans that he liked. (this one was included, but i'll go cross it off my list now. kimono patterns make my head ache and it's impossible to outdo yours. xP) i thought the art wasn't bad and that maybe i'll read air gear, but i was warned of the excessive fanservice. although i got a warning and the plot was partially spoiled for me (because i was told parts of it to give me context and help me wall appropriately), i was stuck in making a bg so i started reading the manga... and damn was the purposeless ecchi annoying, what with simca's "reward" for ikki, ringo's replacement costume during the behemoth battle... -__-" i only read that far for the non-ecchi stuff...thinking about dropping it now.

now the relevant stuff. i like the thought put into this wall (the mythological reference), something different. personally, i find that there are too many stars and the black bird silhouettes are somewhat stark against the bright sunset, but that's no big deal. ah...those patterns are beautifully used. :3 i adore what you did for ringo's kimono, very pretty. just a little something i noticed about the vectoring though -- there are several places where the colors go over the outline into what should be another color. these spots should be pretty obvious if you are looking for them: along the border between the tan layer she is wearing underneath her blue kimono, along the yellow rope that ties her obi, her hair.

a +fav for me, for the gorgeous job you did of vectoring and coloring the manga scan. (i'm feeling the pain of vectoring manga scans. T__T but i brought that upon myself by agreeing to wall those. xD;)

but this is way better! when i first saw it i was like "ohhh that looks cool," and then i saw your name and i was very happy that you've already walled again! i love what you did with the lighting! for sure a fav! i just love oh! great's artwork, and i'm glad you choose one of his pieces with a kimono because he draws them so well. i also really like the vectoring job you did, nice and clean and not very trendwhorish.

i would use it but her crotch really freaks me out...it just looks so weird...

Dayummm... this is a huge wall.

Been a while since I last seen a large scale wallpaper from you like this one D= I'd like it to have a bit more 'spice', but that's totally a personal preference =P
