After my first attempt wasn't really that good, this wallpaper sat on my for about two months. Today, feeling goofy, I decided to submit it for the hell of it.

The effect I was going for was to bring out the main focus point of the image (Revy) and to make it contrast from the grunge/techie style background. The original scan had text and was in pretty bad condition so that took a couple of days to fix and to extract. Overall I thought it was a fun project that took way to long to complete but it was for one of my favorite shows so I don't mind.

I had already extracted it, vectored it, and posted it to multiple sites so you could have saved yourself some trouble. A pretty generic wallpaper, just a scan a logo and some light brushwork. I've had much better wallpapers refused than this one, so I'm seriously starting to wonder just exactly what whoever decides which wallpapers to post, is looking for in a wallpaper. If it's one of your first then by all means keep working for it, but if you are experianced than you need to come up with some better inspiration.

Thanks you guys for all your comments & criticisms. This was my first wallpaper and I'm glad it was accepted. I forgot to mention in the description but I'd like to thank everyone in Session Zero who helped me out with this.

As I said above this is my first wallpaper. A couple of weeks after I reworked the scan, I saw that someone else had done it too, along with four other people in my knowledge who had also claimed they fixed up the scan too so that did piss me off. Thanks for looking at my wall anyways.

Ya now Sammy is an A%%% hole! xd listen to him!! ;D coz you now, i think wall is very cnie even thought yeah there is brushes, and the text, but to me it seems like even thous things may take a while to make, i no you worked on that scan, it looks almost like a reall vecotr, i like the whole feeling to it! It looks Uwsom! i just think they really apprecciated ure work, or simply didnt understand! ^_^' but in the other hand its a great wall for a first one anyways! Its NICE, CLEAN, AND SEXY!! ;P Lol!! Well ncie job, ill fav it coz its not doing very good, but i think it disurves MORE favs!! XD

I like this one, it's simple but it isn't bad especially for a first wall. The text is sharp, the background seems to match both the text and scan, and speaking of the scan it's very nice in the way it's vectored. Good Job. ^^

I really like the sort of bloody background you made because matches with the character in the wall. I also like the picture you chose to make it look sexy and dangerous. I wouldn't change anything to change this because you did a good job :-)
