AP Featured Wallpaper!: Sometimes I wonder how people come up with there idea's for wallpapers. Every wallpaper is unique in its own way but some show a fresh breeze trough the toughts of everyone. Popart is something you see every now and then but mixed together with this blend of Alice in Wonderland look makes it just something fresh and new.
Thats why this wall of storm-and-fire deserves to be highlighted. They have been producing great wallpapers for some while now ofting combining there strenghts into masterpieces. These 2 sisters are a perfect match strengthening there weaknesses with good teamwork resulting in awesome craftmanship.
On previous wallpapers we could see there vectorring and landscape skills, ore there fresh toughts and crazy ideas on how to go loco with a bit of art into it.

Only this time it was perfected. A vector so outstanding it makes you wonder where they got it from. colourd with shades different tones a glancing to it and a softness to go with the background.
The background is remarkable, it might be a bit blurry compared to the vector it still remains a unique work if you see into it that they used a tablet to draw it by hand and finish it off with colouring. Somehow it becomes budhistic with childsplay mixed into it.

and the all out idea behind this wallpaper is one you dont have to understand. there is no emotion to this wall just happyness with candy on top, all mixed together in sirup and some gummybear madness. I

Hello everybody! Storm calling! We're bringing something new! This is the first Storm-AND-Fire wallpaper (as in we both made it, even though it's primarily Anna's).

Well, Anna had been working on it for some time, but it became a collab during the last week. I helped her a bit with it. Whenever she got tired, I would take control. For example, I made a super detailed vector of the girl's cellphone (it doesn't show, does it?), drew some of the fluffy clouds, the rainbows on the left side and coloured most of the popart. Here's what she wants to say:

Hi everyone! Long time no see!
This is my first time vectoring and drawing popart. Popart is fun! Vectoring is not! The lineart took me about 3 weeks. 0.0
So, my part on this wall was the vectoring of the girl (except of the part Maria did), the drawing of popart, door, wall texture, rainbows on the right side, 1/4 of the popart colouring, and other adjustments.
Anyway, hope you like the wallpaper. It beat the crap out of both of us. Thank God our parents are cooperative! Have fun!

Anyway, collaborating was actually weird. We had a hard time, but it was really fun and we're both liking the result.

So... in case you haven't fullviewed and looked on the right side, this wallpaper is our loving gift for `k1ru!

And well... because Anna did not screencap the steps throughout her progress, I took the liberty and made this little pic of fullsized or 50% resized parts of the vector (the 25% version is used on the wallpaper):

Well, I must say you girls did a magnificent job here, not only did you girls worked hard for it but it paid off perfectly, first of all I love the BG, it's very colorful and the designs look great.

Congrats on the highlight!
The lineart is amazing - all the time you spent on it really paid off! The girl doesn't even look like a vector because you did it so flawlessly.
I love the crazy designs in the background and the colouring is very well done - yay bright crazy colours!
I also like the hint of grunginess on the walls and how you made the floor painted instead of just plain.

Freakin awsome wall, I love all the creative details in the backround. The only problem I have is the blurriness of the area of the bottom and where it connects to the wall. It doesn't look very natural. Otherwise, a very well thought out wallpaper that deserves to be highlighted n_n. Hope to see more wallpaper like from you (Storm AND Fire). WOOT!!! (+Fave)

*sigh* only if i had half the talent of one of you two, then maybe my parents would be more cooperative/understanding about my walling. T_T they pretty much disapprove of me walling. it makes me wonder if my ineptitude at it is one reason why.

uh, i should probably switch over to a happier tone. ^^; what should i say? how about... you are BOTH crazy! (read: i'm very impressed) xD the amount of detail in here is unbelievable and i bet that if i could use this as my desktop (alas, i don't have a widescreen monitor), i would be finding new things for weeks. =] the floor makes me kinda dizzy though. and i noticed a little something. the blue goes over the outlines into the gray road (that stretch between the purple cloud-face and the white skull) but it doesn't anywhere else along the gray road.

nothing big to complain about at all. :D your work is lovely as ever. you know you two rock! (this time the promotion should finally come...it's a wonder why it hasn't happened yet.) so, of course, here comes the +fav! x3
