This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

My first wallpaper for this website. I read fan translations of Blame! a couple years ago and it inspired a lot of stories. I recently picked up Tokyopop's releases of the series to re-read it and ended up creating this wallpaper.
This is at 1280x800, if anyone wants any other dimensions or sizes feel free to ask and I will send them to you. My website is under construction right now, so I don't have the other resolutions currently available on the internet.

Awseome wall man, gotta love BLAME!, Ilove the color scheme and composition but i think the scanlines are a little too bold. Other than that good job ^^

Agh, this is such a nice WP. But it would be 200% better if you removed those nasty scan lines, it would look much better <3 emoticon

Blame i don't remember this anime ---- but is so great wallpaper ---- is so great background ---- the conbination of colors in the background is so cool --- the efect of green white blue and black is so great ---- anbd the scan of boy is so cool --- i ticking to my favorites now

I love the use of light and dark and the colours are so pretty!

im not sure i agree with the others when they say the scanlines to bold :S but thats just me :P

Sweet! Blame is awesome I loved the manga and the art. You did a great job of creating a dark atmosphere *thumbs up* The only thing that bothers me is the hardness of the grunge maybe make it a bit softer. I really like it though dark walls are awesome xD +fav

Although it is kinda outta proportion for my compy, its a slick background, i love the neon green lights, looks like it could have come right from the manga...if there were a huge chunk of scrap just laying in the background...lawl
