Well recently ive been on a blame! craze, i love nihei's artwork. anyway i decided to make a blame wallpaper for fun. i took a scan and added tons of brush work and add some text from the artbook. then drew in wings with the brush and more brush......and more brush...yeah.

I like the shadows of the tress and the grass on your wall, they make a quite ,peacul ,mysterious scene,the theme is also good ,Depth of Hope,maybe no one can reli understand it without experiencing somthing derperateli wished for in their heart

Wooo! At least a wallpaper in my resolution! And it's from Blame!
The color composition is nice and the wings are great, but I'm not sure about the text in the bg and the title.

Cool effect, plus it have nice color and nice shading.
These elements makes your wallpaper looks amazing and have a deep feeling.
But, is this just my eyes or it really there? a box with text inside there...
I think that was nice, but you misplaced the box... put it somewhere else that have a dark color... will makes the text be able to see, and doesnt makes your wallpaper looks bad.
i suggest to put it on the corner... xD

I don't see this "tons" of brush work. I see the fact that you added some caligraphy and some wings..maybe a texture or two.

Oh my!! Now this is truly a work of art on it's own!! :D The textures add to the mystical aura that the wallpaper is giving off. I must say that it is one of the most detailed and intricate wallpapers I have seen in quite a while. Also, it is a nice change seeing exceptionally well-done wallpaper without scans. The hues of the scene are beautiful and remind me of some fantasy island from a book which had come alive :D :D ~__^!!!~~~~ Grade A++++ work :)!!

Nicely done on the blends on colours in the bg. the dark/erie feel to it is also great. But liek MinstrelKnight said i can't reali see the "tons" of brushwork. but overall a good job.

OH wow I love the brush work here! And I like the blue green look to the feel! Also awesome texturing with the japanese text over the wall, nice! Like the dark feel of the wall, pretty damn good! Favorites!

Wow... o__o I'm really loving the way this looks on my desktop, I just wish it was in 1600x1200 or some corresponding ratio. But yeah I really really like the colors and the text overlay XD The dark grungy look works so well here. The only thing I'm not sure about is the "blame" text block, but a minor complaint. Really nice job with this one :D

I love this wallpaper. the text in the background is very cool. i think the title works well where you put it, but i do think it might look much more classy in the lower right corner. just this mans opinion however. nontheless fantastic work.

Nicely done. I like how you used the blue/green colors. Although it would have been great if it was a bigger size... like 1680x1050... oh well, again nice job :)

Very nice wallpaper. Man, I love the colors and the effects. I love dark, abstract wallpapers, and Blame! is great. Not to mention widescreen :)
