I wanted to try a wallpaper with this scan from the moment I saw it. It is just so sexy. The pose looked like she was posing for a fashion photoshoot, so that was my first direction. However, I didn't like where it was going.

Next, I thought that she could be dancing. I put her in a club-esque atmosphere and added music. Oh, and I just like chicks with wings.

Lia-Lawliet did the vector for the scan. Great Job Lia! It was so easy with that Vector. It was even in png with transparency so I didn't have to extract it.

Very bland. The different colours of light rays in the background are dull, and have no significance whatsoever.
Atmosphere? Zero.
Depth? Zero.
Cloud and wings? No idea why you even bothered.
Points for vectoring, but I can honestly say that far too little effort has been put into this wallpaper. I wouldn't even consider downloading it. A wallpaper like this on my desktop would simply embarrass me.
Sit down, take a deep breath and take a second look.
Overall rating: 2/10

I don't want to be harsh, but i agree with TBFW.
I have no idea what you were trying to do with the BG..? The light rays are dull, the music theory doesn't fit as all and same story with the wing type thing.
Sorry for being negative, but take this criticism and apply it to your next wall.. thats how we learn. But i suggest using session zero more untill you are sure your work is acceptable.

It doesn't really go at all...Nel's pretty and all but the background to the rest is not that great...the music notes are distracting too...this wall is not great...but Nel is!

Well... I was a bit shocked when I saw my name on a wall I didn't do, but I kinda feel flattered. I love to see my work being used by others, it makes me feel people like it. And I'm immensely grateful for the credit, people rarely do it.

Now about the wall itself. The concept is somehow attractive, but, as everyone else said, it just... lacks atmosphere. I would get rid of the wings and the cloud. And Nel doesn't merge with the background, she and the BG seemes completely separate entities.

I don't... like the background. I like the concept for the background, but it could use a lot of work. The colors don't match, and it's general quality isn't poor, but it needs improvement.

I think this should've gone through SZ before being submitted. Really, people there can give a lot of help. I suggest you ask for advise there the next time, so your work can be improved, and then more people will like it.

Looks like some people were harsh... I was happy to see Nell in a wallpaper! I think the concept is good, just not as well executed as one would have hoped. You could have saturated her a little more to bring out her colors, and then placed her in a background with a club scene, some colored lights, and make her stand out from the crowd.
