It took me a whole week to vexil this wallpaper. The image used was originally just a black and white scan. I didn't want to add to much to the overall wall. The character's needed to stand out. Maybe I will do more wallpapers like this in the future.

Anyway, this is my first attempt at coloring a black and white scan and even though it had it's challenges, it was a lot of fun. Some of the challenges was redrawing stuff because the scan was a little rough around the edges. Instead of making all the outlines black, I wanted to use color for outlines of the hair and skin and I think it turned out for the best that way.

I wanted it to stay simple like the original picture but I didn’t want it to be boring so I went with a retro style and used bright colors with a mix of pastels so that it wouldn’t blind you. I hope you guy like it. xD
