This is the quickest wallpaper I have created in awhile, and it's not because there wasn't any effort put into it or anything, but it's because I felt so inspired to finish it! I fell in love with the scan as soon as I saw it, and I decided that I would have to make a wallpaper version of it. (it's somewhere in the AP and MT scan galleries, I'm sure, but I'm in a bit of a rush right now.) I vectored the girl and wall from the original scan, and then I took that over to Photoshop to work on coloring everything properly. After adding the basic gradients, I then added the city behind, textures from sxc.hu, and downloaded a graffiti font from dafont.com (I'm too lazy to make my own graffiti >_>) I outlined that font in Illustrator, added the shadows with the lines, and colored it with an Airbrush. Then I put a bunch of snow, which is also just splatters turned into brushes from sxc.hu. I think that is all as far as the process goes. The total time spent on the wall is around 2 days on and off. Hopefully you enjoy this as much as I do.
