Hmm.. after full-viewing I noticed that the prism is blurrier compared to everything else in the wall. I presume you used vector brushes with that vectored character, so I recommend that you either vector the prism since it's just an additional three pen-tool lines or sharpen it (remove the seemingly Gaussian blur).
And quoting the term iamfreeska said earlier ("solid black"), I must warn you that health-wise, the vivid colors on black isn't such a pleasant thing. The stark contrast stresses the eyes.. you might want to consider softening that contrast by replacing the stark black with some desaturated hues instead.

Don't get me wrong though, I love the concept! I am an avid fan/geek of the laws of Physics~ the wallpaper is a Creative plus ^^

The idea is very good in my opinion, but the positioning is lacking a bit. I mean that the prism should be at the center of the wall, because it's the center of your whole idea (to use the cover art of the Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon), however I respect your idea. Other than this, I really like it. Good work!
