As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Finally!
i've been doing this for a week. (began last monday...)
the funny thing is, when i started it it was just to make a few lines to determine if this is possible for me to do (because clamp stuff is never easy to vector)... then i liked those lines, and then spend 2 days outlining (and the sad thing is, half of the hair lines became invisible after i changed the color for the more dreamy look) :sweat:

anyway, coloring T.T i painted!! not everything! but i painted! this was a big upgrade for me...
ok truth be told, this whole wall is a big upgrade for me... :D


and btw people, it's my birthday today... so all u're comments and favs will be like a birthday present :D

I know what you mean about CLAMP art being hard to vector... but nonetheless... you made this look superb. Nice work!

This wall is so cute. I used to have the original image on my old comp. [ You must have been hard-workin' . . . o.o ] I knew it wold have had some trouble with this pic of Tomoyo. CLAMP is very detailed. (._.") I would throw a fit with something like this, lol!
It's very pretty, thou. More like a modern/HDTV version of the original. xD

This is one of my favorite Tomoyo images and you've did an excellent job in turning it into a wallpaper! I've got another one with the same image somewhere, but this is the superior one by far.

Not that great, it's pretty simple and looks exactly like the scan basically. I would have liked this if there was more creativity to it. Nt though.

Wow,,, i know to make a clamp's vector is not really easy, I can't even think about it, Good, so many details, dresses, long hair, swords and flowers all around, but this tomoyo's pic is so nice, dont have a lot of details but you can center the attention in tomoyo's face, she looks really sexy,, and she's just 10,, ajajaj, nice colors, nice background, a very professional work.
