While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

As soon as I saw this image in the galleries I had to make a wallpaper out of it! I loved the sketchy feel to the image and I wanted to show off CLAMPS beautiful art.

All I really did to it was some texture and brush work to make it look like Princess Hinoto was floating with the Dragons in the clouds, and of course added the text. I didn't want to go too crazy and spoil the image so I tried to keep the wallpaper as simple as possible.

Textures were made by me and also from DeviantArt, and the brushes were also made by me!

I hope everyone enjoys this wallpaper ^^

Amazing sepia tone.. looked like a paper burnt out but the characters are still seen. good job on this!

The whole theme reminds me of some ancient Chinese drawing with an old paper. Nice textures. As been mention before by other members, the Chinese characters been used are kinda random. Anyway, great job!

gives us this arty feeling like it is some asian art or a treasure map >.< which totaly fits in

Love the wallpaper. the scan you used matches perfectly with the textures and graphics used. Really like the image, not familiar with the artist, but the dragons are pretty cool. Good job and keep up the good work. Definitely going to add this to my favorites :D

It's a good thing that you didn't adjust to many of it... it would have ruined the picture
Keep it simple is definetly your motto =P
Nah i just wanna say that you can make a nice wall out of a nice picture withouth adjusting or adding loads of stuff to it.

Oh, I love dragons and the picture of Hinoto with the dragons are lovely. The wall has kind of an 'old' feeling to it and I love that. It looks amazing. I think you did the right thing in not making the wall too busy. It dosen't need anything else to look great.

Wow. This wallpaper is just...*goes silent and gapes for a while* I have to say that it has a powerful yet uniquely ancient feel to it. The colors and lines mesh together very well, and the solemn mood fits beautifully. The words are just the right size...and man, everything is tops! =D

You did a fantastic job! It's one of the best X/1999 wallpapers I've seen! Great job!
