Mech.A and the Guren. All the things that I love.

The multicolored background of the Guren was made from multiple screenshots from episodes 23-24 of Code Geass R2 (Fukushahado blasts and debris). Sadly, I accidentally deleted from my PC and the .PSD layers are too watered-down by the edits [ link unavailable].

Other edits were done in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 -- my favorite gradient overlay [laser], bevel&emboss[glass slabs], and other miscellaneous typography edits. Fonts copyright Adobe Inc. (Trajan Pro") and Microsoft ("Batik Regular").

I used 2 out of the 3 development stages of the Guren, namely the Guren Nishiki Mk II [the vector scan] and the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Hakkyoukushiki (for the BG). "Guren Dances" is the 10th episode of the first season, where the Guren makes it's debut as the ace of the Order of the Black Knights. I thought it quite an appropriate incorporation in the sense that I, too, want to give the Guren it's momentum (as it's a rare subject).

What disturbs me most about this wallpaper is that it has absolutely no Zen. The layout is quite klutzy and absurd. It's not a very user-friendly wallpaper; I doubt your desktop items will be visible against the harsh laser beams. ><
