Latin has always been a fascination of mine.
On the one hand, it's buttfuck useless.
On the other hand, you can learn more about English from a Latin textbook in an afternoon than twelve years of dedicated study. Kind of.
Aaaaaaaaaanyway. Many Latin expressions have been lost to time, mostly (such as the one in the title) but many others have been modified to modern English (such as the one covering up her mouth.) That phrase in itself-- "a modicum of decorum"-- can be seen as something that silences us, something that holds us back.
Plus I wanted to do something arty, not just "underage pantsu on a beach lololololololol." So.
