3th attempt with this wall XD
I really love this one...i think that is the better one that i ever make (well...yeah...the other aren't so good ç_ç).
However, for this one i spent around 1-2 hours for the vector.
For the background i used a scan, manipulate it, and add some effect like the "wind" effect and those little insect X°
Thanks to ningen's anime wallpaper for the water ripples tutorial ^_^

I like it. It looks so simple at first, but when you download it you can appreciate the subtlety of the background...It looks so soft; makes me wish I could reach out and touch the snow. Nice colors, too; very clean and calm. ^_^ *tacks to Faves*

I have issues with the colors as to me, they seem a bit dead and saturated, which is honestly hideous.
the image is also very very flat. not to mention that light beam that striked his face just isn't flattering.
and the font doesn't match at all. actually, its more of the effect that bothers me.

it has a very good concept behind it and i give you the props you deserve for that.
but the execution could have been really better. more vivid colors could have saved this work from its total misery.
and also, remove the black border. it doesn't work for me IMO.

You seem to really like this series (666 Satan)..

Anyways, I agree with koi89, the borders make me think that you made it slightly too small, and just put the border there to get the right size..
And the background is very faded I can't really see much.
I don't mind the image being a bit too flat, and I like the vectoring, it's quite good, but not the best..
I don't really want to comment on the title/text, since I can't find anything to say, but the font isn't very interesting..

All in all, not a very impressive wallpaper, but I'm sure you can be better.

You know, I like the picture in general, however the colours are very I guess lackluster, your earlier things are very nice, full of bright vibrant colours and then this, well it looks a little bit washed out. But to be honestly fair, the typefacing for the font is really nice.

The background is nice I like it but the center piece is tacky and the ray/light beam is distracting.

I would try agian to do better with the character but keep the background

This wallpaper surely is something, there is nice contrast and brightness adjustment for the background, they really fit together with the character. The background, the fountain, the colors and ewerything is perfect! Nice work.
