As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. I don't have anything to say ,and honestly i hate to write long descriptions!

I just found this amazing scan and i painted it , My idea is that i wanted this girl
to look kind of like mermaid and it's like half of her is a mermaid and the other a normal woman ... i haven't seen this anime so i have no idea about it ... i just followed my imagination when i was making this wall ...

Quite a unique design concept merging both versions together and again lovely painting. But I do prefer the other version of just the one set colour.

Wow,lovely...I really love the idea of making her a half mermaid,you did awesome on those scales...I do think her eye lashes and crayon could be a little more subtle,they stand out too much,and interfere with the harmony of the rest...

But,I do love this,and it's one my favorite walls of yours,because the girl is so pretty,unlike the one from the Ghost in the shell,haha xD

Her eyelashes are perhaps a bit too dark for the overall colors and her lips look a bit weird, too but the hair painting looks awesome. Nice job! :)

Wow, this is awesome! So beautiful! Although a bit creepy, too...with her face/neck and all, lol. I like the other version, where it's all in color (reds/yellow, etc.), but this one with half being blue is neat, too. :) It adds to the creepiness and contradictory-ness of the design, like you were going for. ^_^ Wonderful painting as usual~ Great job! *faves*

OMG! Lol from the thumb I thought her neck was rotting. O_O Haha now I see that stuff is supposed to be scales. XD I like the colors and concept, and I'm preferring the orange one more. Upon full view I think the lashes are too black (use a dark brown or purple to match the colors of the wall next time) and don't have enough curl to them - the hairs look kinda bushy and random. I would use the smudge tool near the corners of her eyes and gently swish them outward some more. I also think her irises seem kinda blurry and need more shadows for more depth. The lips are good and I like the color of them, but I think you can give them more impact with some more highlights/shine along the lower lip. :D Happy painting!

Impressive way of painting his wallpaper.

You try to do more complexes your wallpapers but actually(indeed) they are very hollow.

I liked more his wallpapers of before, simpler and creative not as(like) now that alone you do faces and heads.

ok forget it. Probably do not even read this commentary.

Every person likes different styles.

You like to make actually (artistic) faces. or something that really you put in your desktop and are proud of it?

The background is looking good, the bright coloring and water drops are very nice. The character looks good as well, though her eyelashes are a bit dark and thickly colored. It has a good title, nice wallpaper.

I think this is a very interesting concept, I like how you wanted her to seem like a flowing mermaid who's skin is melting into water but I have to admit that version 1 of your work looks more like your vision then your finished one because I think the blue makes her skin look like a flesh eating virus I think it kind of contradicts the beauty of the girl a little, but in the version 1 you can see that her skin is turning into water. Your painting is flawless and her face is just beautiful none the less. Nice work. :) A-
