This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

So... this was a 'what a lazy girl' quick wall, tough the vector wasn't that much easy (XD) emoticon since I had to reconstruct the image from two or three scans (can´t remember #(u_u)# emoticon).

Anyway,just enjoy the wall, since almost nobody reads this part. >:3 emoticon

Effects in the clouds and blue colors in the sky are smooth and natural. White waving wings are drawing fantastic memories.

How beautiful! I love Escaflowne, and your wallpaper is absolutely fantastic! I love reading people's descriptions of how they made the wallpapers and whatnot, so I would've liked to hear more about it. :D Like what the original scans were and whatnot. Anyway, you did a beautiful job with the vector...it's lovely. The bright colors are great, and I think the clouds match well for the background since Van's flying with his wings. *faves* Awesome job!

XD I wanted to wall this lovely picture too! But now I am hesitant because your vector is so nice! Hitomi's eyes are so green! Haha. I really like the layout and the heavenly feeling of this wallpaper. However, I don't think the clouds match the shiny vector, because the clouds look kind of coarse and filtered. I also think the text in the widescreen version should be moved to the left some more because it seems kind of empty on the left side. Overall though, kyah~

I have a thing for wallpapers with Van with his wings; just so pretty. :)
I like the positioning of the image and the background and how clean everything is, but the jaggedy low-quality text ruins it. :/

Its really awesome... nicely done and it has a warm glow to it.
they background on the other hand sort of fails to impress.
hmmm... i like your monad wall though.. the sky background in that one suits it.
in this one it sort of makes the wall more of a cliche.
