W00t, my first wall in...over a year! This is what happens when I try to study statistics...
Anywho, this image is from my lovely Baten Kaitos Origins, which is a fantastic game for the Nintendo Gamecube. And the voice-acting is 10 000 times better than the first game! (thank god) Sagi and Milly are so cute. =^.^=

Meh, just messing around, really. Used some stock images and textures and some sparkly brushes. I do love sparkles. And so do the makers of Baten Kaitos, apparently...

Wow! An excellent wallpaper for one of my favorite underdog RPGs! I do like the sparkles as well as the cloudy background which give it a feeling of purity. Way to go!

Hmmm... I'm kinda on the fence about this one.

I think the bg you constructed is fantastic, I love the brushwork, and the sorta cracked canvas texture.

However, the painterliness (I think that's a word >_>) of the bg just doesn't really mesh well with the sharp, ridgedness of the cg rendered characters. If you could find some decent artwork from the game, I think it would work better, or else use some filters on the renders.

Not sure if any of that was particularly constructive critcism, but I do think it's a good attempt.

It's just that the renders kinda bug me. o.o

The background is really good, the sky, the clouds, the lights are looking very good. The characters are nice, too, especially the girl, they're fitting to the background. The title is nice, good wallpaper.

I haven't seen much wallpapers for this, but I have to say that you did a good job.

I don't really like the transition of the characters onto the bg, but that can be forgiven. You tried and I appreciate that.

First wall in over a year, huh?

The lettering looks a bit off...

Can you do another without the baiten kaitos title on the wallpaper?

I think it'll look better without it.

Also, how about having an after image of the bad guys on the

background of the picture? But that's just me.

First of all thank god we have a fan of Baten Kaitos willing to put up a wallpaper of a game that is already forgotten. I haven't played either of the games but I've been told they are fun. The background looks great and the sky colors I think were chosen well to allow the characters to stand out as they are. The placement of the three characters is well balanced and personally I find it great to look at, over and over again.
