As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Wallpaper Specs

I just had to wall a fox boy/girl thing?, Because bishie/thing + fox ears + 9 tails is much < 333 ..er, well.. I think it's a boy anyway.. everyone's telling me it's a girl. Maybe it is a girl. o_O

The ground is painted from a stock, as well as the cow skull. He's in a desert I guess. that's what I was going for anyway. The scan, because it had this.. hideous texture/colored spot on it I had to re-CG the whole thing. I have carpel tunnel now, which means you need to feel sorry for me and LOVE on my wall. =(((( Oh, and made some dust floating around, yeah, blah extended his tails on the left yadda paint blaaah blah. There's also a very.. VERY light paper texture.

Made using Photoshop CS3 and Corel Painter. It took over a month to complete. It was hell. It was so bad I almost wanted to eat babies. But I didn't.

woot for time consuming recg work. *shakes hand* i know how that feels. you did a real bang up job on this, cuz it's purty. well the recg is. not sure whether a cracked desert floor is constituted pretty from this angle. but that is well done too.

Not a fan of fox boys, but your style of painting is simply gorgeous. I love the way you re-colored the art, and your attention to details really impresses me.

I just finished a project that took me 9 days, so I guess I too would have started eating babies if a wall drags for a month...you have definitely got the patience to see it through...

Oh and did you have nightmares while you were doing the wall? By god he's creepy as Hell...donno how you managed to stare at him for 30 long days...

Anyways, definitely a +fav, although I highly doubt I would actually use it on my desktop (God...those menacing eyes...filed teeth...*shrivel)...

The painting job is awesome < 3 The colours look so much nicer compared to the scan, and the texture on the original makes him look as though he has rabies or something =.=" I have been eyeing this scan too, but since you walled it, I will push it back on my scans-to-wall list =D

I love the hair, the tails and the eyes. The painting on the background and the skull rocks too >3 Although a little texture on the ground might increase...I dunno...the feeling of a desert, maybe? xD

Sure fave, and Hiiro no Kakera is my new love for bishies < 3 I hope I can finish walling at least one scan before you superb senior members grab it first =D

Wow, he really does look eerily awesome and cute here... And I must say, judging from the scan, you made an awesome job repainting him, he looks lovely! And creepy, too. But I digress. :D

I like the simple dry sand BG and the perspective of the character is more the awesome because of it. The cow skull is also a nice detail.

And it's a good thing no babies had come to harm. XD
