This wallpaper took a bit more work than my usual seneric backgrounds. For a bit of time, I wanted to make a Devil May Cry wall. And then I saw this scan of him and I wanted to wall Dante. The concept was I wanted to have a dark gothic Underworld feel. So I went to stock exchange for the pics I needed. This took a bit of improvising on the angle of the building's part, the crows and the wall by Dante. Let's not forget about finding better mist and cloud brushes to get the feel I want. And the short lyrics under the title is from Fear Factory's 'Invisible Wounds', which was fitting of Dante's personality. With great advice from Kalico and blu3angl, I'm rather happy of the finished work. Enjoy!! More resolutions at Imanimetions soon!

Nice manipulations done, It's one of the few walls, that such a realistic stock would fit in a wall. You know what i think XD what's more, the whole gun thing looks very nice. and, finally a dark wall among the mostly happy walls we're getting lately. Nice job! Fav as present :D

THose guns look outstanding, the layout and perspective (if not the same thing) look perfect. One thing tho, whats with diiferent types of birds? 0.o lol

You did a very nice job with the background and I like how you made Dante's suit darker to blend with the background. Although I wish you could have made the fog a tad more real looking. Really nice job +fav

I like this one, but something about the wall behind Dante bothers me. Don't know why...maybe I just like a full sky. Really nice job on this one.

Ooo Dante! i like the dark/eeriness to it...it just makes dante so much more bad-ass ..though i still would've liked to see a bit more of his infamous red jacket..it might have been a bit too dark...the moon's lighting should maybe reflect off dante a bit ...and i think the biggest crow on the top right kinda takes away the moon's effects..or maybe it's just a bit too close to the moon
but other than that..i love it! nice job!

I don't know the game, but the atmosphere of the background with the fogs and the moon made it great! ;-)

One of your best to date, although, i still think your rahxephon one for the challenge tops it.
love the dark atmoshpere, and major props for gtting the angle and perspective right.
this just proves you can do light airy walls like the rahxephon ones, and dark ones like this one.

Wow, I really like this. It's a DMC2 scan, lol. Too bad that one wasn't that great. But Dante looked extremely bad@$$ in 2, even though the game wasn't up to par with 1 (and a piece of crap compared to 3).
Other than that crow being very close to the moon, this wall is pretty outstanding. Good job.

Really good wallpaper, i like it. The background constructed with a hupper gothic church, the moon and black bird is very a doos idea and mix to put the character.

First of all, the guns look massive! Secondly, it so looks like the Underworld movie poster... damn good concept man... scan is really clean, the look is scary and intimidating..... definitely a favourite!
