Ah well...it's all in good fun. :)
Anyway, Lain has always been a personal favorite series of mine when doing walls of this type (i.e. B&W). Background panels are made of different round edged boxes with textures layered over and manipulated to taste. Noise is added in to give Lain that distinctive Lain feel. And the thing at the bottom left is just a portion of pipe stock (also manipulated to blend in with the style). Left the background minimalistic to avoid killing the overall atmosphere.
Pretty much geared towards icon friendliness.
PS: Flyin, one day I'm gonna kill you by brushing your teeth to death after a meal. XD
