Wallpaper 1 out of 3 from my 2008 walling resolution.
I have always adored this series and have been dying to do a Chocotto Sister wallpaper for a very long time now. Never really had fondness for snowy/X'mas-themed walls (Choco was a X'mas present from one really badass hawt Santa) so the image has been lingering on my HD for ages (my initial background idea was something X'mas-sy).
To cut the story short, Chinese New Year is only like...2 weeks away and I wanted to do something involving CNY themed colors and the idea of a Choco wall came across my mind (actually was browsing through my scans in my HD for walling inspirations). The idea of something upbeat and fun with reds, oranges and yellows was something I played around with and the initial wallpaper design strucked my mind all of a sudden. So I picked up my pen tool, redid Choco, played around with some old background ideas and this is the final result. Wanted to go with some fireworks motifs but after playing around with shapes (one custom made), floral motifs seem to complement the whole piece nicely.
Enjoy!
