As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Well I kinda wanted to make myself a simple wall and this is what came out.

I saw a nice scan right on this site which was perrrfect for my desktop. So I vectored Rei and made my own 'underwater' background 'cause I didn't like the one in the scan.

Or maybe I just hate how hot summer this year is and I want more water.
You never know such things.
