As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Random thoughts

This one is for Forget Me Not and Scenic.
It took me forever to finish this... because I'm a lazy person. Click here to see the close-ups of the main vexel, there are more than 1700 shapes and I was really surprised by this small number when I finished x_x
And no, the mirror is not supposed to reflect anything and I'm not fixing anything 'cause I have no stamina left ;_;

I want to thank the members of FMN for their ideas and everyone for all their support this year ♥

First off, major props for using Range's work. You win solely for that.

Alrighty, this wall greatly intrigued me when I first saw the thumbnail and on closer inspection, I love it even more. Such a gorgeous job on the scan too. It looks so much better than the original. I tip my hat to you for that sole reason right there. The background is quite gorgeous too. I'm especially liking the mirror =3. My only complaint would be the cobweb, not because it doesnt' fit, but I dunno, it just doesn't feel right. Then again, maybe it's just me @~-J@. Though, I have to say, it would be rather incomplete without it.

All in all, this is a splendid wallpaper. Everything is so very well done and fits so nicely together that I can't imagine it being any other way. Great job! This is a favorite for me. The world can never have too much Range.

Details of shading on that vector/vexel are amazing, you must be incredibly patient to make it like that o.o I prefer main version ^^

Really, really nice work. The vector is amazingly well done, the entire composition works very well, the color range was properly selected. Loved the textures and the broken "mirror", and the same goes to the butterfly.

Great job on this one. The character's textures are really nice and smooth and her skin is so pale. She looks like a ghost, which is fitting for this wall. I really like the idea with the spiderwebs and the butterfly. Nice choice of colors. Good job~

*__* pretttyyyyyy! the elements of thi wall are all very well chosen and nicely arranged. the colors aptly captures the atmosphere of the original scan and i, for some reason, really like the cracked mirror. :3

your vectoring/vexeling skills are awesome -- such patience with those skin layers (how many are there?). o__o i'm extremely lazy with skin because it just looks awful whenever i do it. i don't think i can ever get it to come out as smoothly as you've got it here. and if multi-layer shading doesn't come out smooth, it looks weird big time. >__> so a big thumbs up on that accomplishment. =]

As soon as I logged on, this wall caught my eye. This wall is simply gorgeous. It's dark and macabre, but also captivatingly beautiful within that very realm. you did an excellent jog on the character vector and the background really compliments the subject. This is my new desktop, as of now. I could go on and on, but I'll stop with this last comment.
