This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well...nowadays its more "tactical" ...they use top spins on the ball so you never see a half decent rally anymore. i loved the thrill of watching an ongoing rally Lol :D

This took alot of thought 9(>_>) emoticon

9 hours of thinking and 3 hours of actual walling (._.); emoticon

I extracted the both characters, the background was made from another disgaea scan which could barely cover 1/4 of the wall .(-_-). emoticon

The text is double - 2 layers. The bottom layer was black and I liquefied it, then put on another layer with the same text, but white and smaller. Finally I used a simple white brush to imitate a light fog.
Now I'm tired :=[ emoticon

The backround is cool but you could add more things like mountains perhaps or the river could be larger...
I like the double text and the houses at the backround

I still can see some extraction problems on the guy. He has a dot of sky in his hair and a thin line of white around it too.

The text could use some more work cause it looks like kind of random use of some regular tools in photoshop...

As for the background it a pretty good one except that the river on could be bigger and the sort of house on the left side doesn't really fit with the characters...

they don't really look like snow people... The girl have summer clothes on... But that's just a detail.

I don't know if it's made on purpose, but in the sky you have some kind of cut lines and lot of the same pattern on the same spot...

Anyway it's good this has been accepted. =)

Save the comment made on the clothing of the characters in the shot. The Snow Clan is a group of people that exist in the game; it's not referring to their clothing or anything of the sort. ;p

So a ninja member has a wall with ninjas? A very good wall I think, both extraction and background. I myself like the BG but feels sorry for the girl, a little less dressed for such weather. Or maybe ninjas have more endurance?

whoa man this wall is sooo coool!you seem to have done great job scanning background looks neat and does well job of putting the two characters in the fore front. simple but not too simple because you can tell there was alot of work put into it over all i think this wall is so friggin awesome keep up the good work Z you can only get better!
