If someone told me I was going to end up liking the anime series ''Hetalia'' I would have called them a liar...I saw a lot of Hetalia cosplay during Otakuthon in Montreal last July and I couldn't stop wondering why a series about historic events with pretty boys and girls that represents countries would be so damn popular...
Well, I downloaded the first 8 episodes...and darn it...I liked it.
I love the ''sketch'' format in which the story is represented...well, story is a big word, it's more like a collection of sketches switching from one bunch of characters to another. It's funny, silly, and people who take it too seriously have NO sense of humor.
Since I couldn't find a wallpaper that I liked with my three favorite characters, I made one of my own. I took a screen shot of each of them, traced it, colored it, and then I had the idea of putting a silhouette representation of their countries in as sort of a background to their image.
Some people might think that it's a little empty, but I'm not a fan of busy wallpapers...and since I made the images of them quite big, it feels up the screen quite nicely.
So there you have it, I had a lot of fun making this, and another Hetalia wallpaper might pop up in my gallery eventually.
I have another version of this with a little textures added to the mix, if your ever interested in seeing it, just tell me on my page.
