Hmz...well..you used a stock photo and you used cut out on it, you should atleast give credits to the stock photo. about your scan, the extraction is not bad, but it's like...you cutted pieces away that shouldn't be cutted, it's just those small detailed ones. and...you need to blend the scan in the bg, so it won't look like a pop up scan. you also need to think about color matching, cause the colors of the scan doesn't really fit the yellow sand. you need to do more work on the background.

Nice wall... the character works great for this wall... i see, you use a stock photo and cut it to used as the background.. good idea! and the scan is not bad for the extraction, but you actually cutted pieces away that shouldn't be cutted just like Meteorcloud say... anyway, still good job for the wall but do more work to improve your background! :)

Hmmm... the background doesn't match the anime character. Why? Because the character itself is an anime; a cartoon. However, the background is like a realistic picture of a beach. A realistic scene and a non-realistic anime character together? That doesn't make any sense though ^^ However, your background is nice too ^^

Wowies, this is a really cute wallpaper! The scan could use some work on the extractions and blending into the background more. But the scam alone is a great quailty. I think it's a great beach scene though like most members already said, prehaps a more non-realistic scene of the beach would fit better. In a way, it looks vectored but brighten it up a bit. Overall, it's a really cute wallpaper!

Hmm.. the background doesn't seem to fit the picture.. the picture is pretty smooth and clear cut [for the most part good job on the extraction] but the background looks like it's been filtered or something so it doesn't really fit that well... but anyway good attempt! keep up the good work

I also agree that the image doesn't fit the background. The image was extracted nicely but I think the image is blurry in some areas and could have used a little bit if cleaning. Also a lot of the original photo used for the background is still there. Maybe next time you can give the photo you use a different look by using filters. I think the background is too sharp for the image since the image is cartoony and the background seems more like a real photo. Keep up the good work though.

It's really cute... *loves the scan* There are a few iffy sections on the scan though (the outline gets thick than thin at odd parts), and you can really tell which filter(s) were used on the background image...
Other than that, it's really kawaii. ^_^

Sea is too detailed, and the sand looks a little odd, maybe a little more detail. Also why have Mayu at an angle? It might look better if mayu was standing straight. Other than that, good idea. Why not use an image of the beach from the show it self? There are plenty of them.

THe background is a bit more realistic than needed. I suggest you should blur it a bit just to sync with the girl. Regarding the girl, the scan is really cute and I think it matches with the beach background well but you need to spend more time on extraction. There are certain parts that look like see-saw cuts and others have straight edge while it should be rounded. Seems like you cut out some parts that should be there =/ Keep trying!

Looks nice, but as others said too the scan and the bg don't matches that well... maybe the some effects on the scan would be nice too, just to make it look like they're really on the beach ^_~ Other than that it's nice and clean! Thanks for sharing it here!

I really like your idea about put together the image of mayu and a real beach image, also it makes a kind of remenbering of a representative environment for most scenes in elfen lyed hat is the beach so what else to tell you good work!!!!!!!1
