I recently watched Elfen Lied, it was really bloody but it was cute. Anyway it inspired me to make this wallpaper. Shw is standing in front of some church windows, probably in a church but thats for you to decide. Anyway I put in some extra effects and made it look like the glass is either shinning or breaking, cant make up my mind. This took me a long time and has around 30 layers. The hardest part was making her glow due to the light in the background, I still dont think that part looks great. The font reminds me of the font in fairy tales. Enjoy, and if you really like it please favie.

Nice work the light effects are great. But in my opinion it's a bit too much blood.

It looks beautiful. Where did those stained-glass windows come from? They definitely give the wall a fairy-tale feel. The shatter effect is pretty cool and I like how it looks as if she's standing in broken light.
I think putting Lucy in this setting is a little random, but at least you've made it look very nice.

Its always nice to see another Elfen Lied wallpaper. You did a nice job with making Lucy seem to look sad and you put everything together so that this wallpaper expresses Lucy's emotional state of being. Very nice work. I do however think that making her hand bloody might have been a bad idea. However, if you were trying to make this wallpaper like the series there should be more blood. If that was your intention I think this wallpaper would have looked better with maybe some blood splashed on the stain glass windows in the church. It would kind of be symbolic. But anyways thats just my opinion, try not to take it the wrong way. Once again nice job with this wallpaper. I would rate it a B-. Keep up the good work!

this looks much better than the version that i saw on SZ... the background is less blurry and more bright... i can see it better ^_^
The only thing that i don't like much is the reflection.. it looks a bit strange for me...
also the title could look better in a red color...
anyway.. good job! and nice concept!!

The background is beautiful, the colored windows are very nice. The character is looking good too, though, she looks a bit strange in that kind of environment. The title is nice, good wallpaper.

Elfen Lied is a bloody anime but the opening it´s the best OP that i have heard in all my life.

I do agree with you on certain aspects on what SHOULDN'T of been included in Elfen Lied. The series DID try to be a few things that it shouldn't of when it was dealing with the darker nature of humanity, but I guess it helped to serve to lighten the load. I guess it's all up to the person cause this is one of my favorite shows of all time.
As for the wall, I've stated it over and over again, but I'll say it once more. This wall is purely a masterpiece. I absolutely adore the background the most. It greatly reminds me of the opening art (and I didn't know that it was influenced by Klimt until Lilac told me about it =3) and I absolutely ADORE the opening art. The lighting, the texture, the swirls. Everything is just simply flawlessly brought together to form this beautiful and perfect masterpiece. What I love even more is you stripped what would make this wallpaper only for a few (her nipples are showing in the original scan) and made it for everyone. That's the kind of artwork I love, something that can be easily viewed by everyone. Overall, this is a work of art, a pure genius masterpiece and the best Elfen Lied wall I have ever seen. I'm especially inlove with the textless version of this wall.
